Yuba County Democrats and volunteers registered students at Yuba college on National Voter Registration Day in September and again in January and February 2024 for the Primary election.
Students were engaged in selecting issues that were most important to them on our survey board.
Reproductive Rights remained the top issue in both September and January. The Economy and Immigration grew in importance in January. Students added other issues on the sticky notes. We found the board attracted attention to our voter registration effort and was a helpful conversation starter.
We were back at the college on April 24th and 25th, and May 8th and 9th, to register more young people to vote and survey them about issues related to Earth Day.
