JESSICA MORSE

Jessica Morse is a fifth generation northern Californian with deep roots in our district. After graduating from college in the wake of 9/11 she answered the call to serve. She first deployed to Iraq as a civilian working alongside our troops and spent the next decade serving in national security roles fighting corruption human trafficking and terrorism.
Following the devastating Camp Fire in Paradise, Jessica dedicated herself to finding solutions to prevent such catastrophic wildfires. She became Deputy Secretary at the California Natural Resources Agency, spearheading wildfire prevention initiatives. There she worked hand in glove with Cal Fire, loggers, and environmental leaders to design and implement a national model for wildfire prevention programs that protect our families, homes, communities, and public lands. Jessica cut through red tape to get these projects on the ground quickly, yielding significant reductions in mega fires.
JESSICA IS A PROBLEM SOLVER
When she sees a problem she runs toward it and works to fix it. She understands that we cannot let partisan politics stand in the way of finding real solutions to the challenges we face. From addressing our wildfire crisis, to providing humanitarian aid overseas, Jessica has spent her career building bipartisan coalitions of unlikely partners to get things done.

- Champion and safeguard are reproductive rights
- Strengthen and preserve Social Security and Medicare ensuring dignity for our seniors

- Conserve and protect our water supply
