We are excited to have several House Party /Fundraiser events planned for the warmer months. We launched in May, with a backyard Cinco de Mayo party in Browns Valley. It was hosted in a beautiful foothill setting by friends of the Yuba Dem Committee. The majority of the guests were from the surrounding area, so people had a chance to meet and socialize with like-minded neighbors. We had over thirty guests and a good time was had by all. The tacos, the drinks, the side dishes were plentiful and delicious! Children and adults enjoyed yard games. Committee chair, Eleanore Rewerts, explained what and who the YCDCC is and what the donations were for. We owe a big thanks to all those who attended, and especially to our fantastic hosts!
